Panel: Kelantan stadium ban stays
PETALING JAYA: The FA of Malaysia’s appeals committee have upheld the disciplinary board’s decision to suspend all Kelantan football matches at the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium until the end of the year.
FAM general secretary Datuk Azzuddin Ahmad said the appeals committee made their decision on Thursday.
The disciplinary board had on April 9 penalised the Kelantan FA (Kafa) for their fans’ unruly behaviour in two separate incidents at the stadium on March 31 and April 7.
The board suspended the stadium from holding any matches until the end of the year and also fined Kafa RM90,000.
Kelantan have since made the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil as their temporary home base.
